Children
At All Saints we are committed to seeing children coming to know Jesus as Lord and growing in their relationship with Him.
On Sunday mornings and at our after school discipleship groups (Impact) our focus is on encouraging the children in their faith and having fun as we study the bible together, worship and pray.
During the week we visit local schools teaching R.E., taking assemblies, and running football clubs. After school hours we run clubs on local estates and at the church where we reach out into the local community, putting on various activities, playing games and have fun learning about Jesus.
Twice a year we run holiday clubs where we transform the church hall into something exciting like a spaceship or a desert island, and spend a whole week singing songs, hearing stories, playing games, making craft, watching drama, doing challenges involving lots of slime and having a great time as we get to know Jesus with the children.
For the under 3s we have a fantastic crèche during Sunday morning services and during our Tuesday morning women's group where we have fun playing, singing, telling stories and showing Jesus' love to the children.
During the year we have a number of all age services where we gather as a whole church to worship together. We also have a visiting camel called Humphrey who comes to All Saints to teach the children (and the grown ups) a little more about Jesus. There are a number of different clubs that kids can get involved in on Sundays and during the week.
Babies
- Crèche: This takes place in our special baby and toddler-friendly room in the hall during the Sunday morning service for under threes, run by parents who have undergone police checks and references.
Toddlers
- Parents & Toddlers: Mums and Dads with their toddlers join in fun, games, sing-songs and story-time. There are 2 sessions held in the Hall every Wednesday morning during term-time, 10-11am and 11am-12noon. Contact: Amanda Walker
Children
- Sunday Club (3-14 year olds): This is a place where the children sing, play games, hear Bible stories presented as truth in a fun way, and do activities related to each week's story. Many of the children have an understanding of the Gospel and are encouraged to put their faith in God into practice. It is a fun, safe and caring environment.
- Holiday Clubs: During the Easter holidays and October half-term, All Saints Church runs fun-filled holiday clubs for children from church and the local area.
- After School Club: Games, crafts, Bible stories and loads more fun for 5-11 year olds, Tuesdays 3.45-5.15pm in the hall at All Saints
