UK mission partners

The church gives away 10% of its income to support mission in the UK and worldwide

We have Partners who are working in education, health, evangelism and church ministry.

These are people or organisations which we commit to supporting financially as well as practically and in prayer.

Pecan
This charity, based in Peckham and Elephant & Castle in South London, runs a variety of training programmes to help unemployed people overcome their barriers to work and find and hold on to satisfying jobs. Over 1,500 people benefit from Pecan's training every year including ex-offenders, people recovering from mental illness and refugees.  Pecan started in 1989 and is often cited as an example of national excellence in its field. In 2005 Pecan established Morph, a furniture reuse social enterprise which has been very successful and attracted positive national media attention. All Saints has been a supporter of Pecan since its very early days but the links have grown stronger in recent years, most recently through the PEEP youth project at the Bradfield Youth Centre

Springboard
Springboard is an organisation working in inner city primary schools with kids who struggle with literacy. Their aim is to address the childrens' educational needs in a holistic way which includes recognising God's hand in every aspect of their lives. Through individualised tuition the children are enabled to make the most of their educational potential. School trips also help to address low self esteem which is often a product of their struggles in class. To equip people working with children in schools Springboard runs a training programme which has now been extended to North London.

XLP
10 yrs ago - a youth worker called Patrick Regan was asked to come into a school which was still reeling from a stabbing, to try and help staff and students make sense of what had happened. In 10 yrs XLP has grown into an organization which is working in 30 schools in 6 London boroughs. It continues to address these same issues. The recent "gunzdown" tour helps youth make wise choices, enabling them to avoid being the latest statistic. The XLP team runs assemblies, discusses what the bible says about life today, mentors and trains young people in life skills, making Jesus real to their lives. As All Saints has started working in local schools, partnerships on the ground have sprung up with XLP.

Zacharias Trust
Zacharias Trust aims to challenge a skeptical Europe that believes that "God is Dead". It engages in thought-provoking discussion forums to engage peoples' hearts and minds. These take place in anywhere from pubs to dinner parties, universities to churches. It also works to equip the church, training Christians in both the art and the science of discussing their faith. Amy Orr-Ewing and Michael Ramsden, also an evangelist, are involved in teaching at Holy Trinity Brompton's new School of theology. A Vital Connections course was also part of apologetics training for some All Sainters in 2006.
