Giving guidelines

It is All Saints' desire that all church members can have the opportunity to influence where our 10% tithe goes. With that in mind we have made available the guidelines by which the external giving Committee consider requests.

If you would like to know more in order to prayerfully propose an individual or organisation you'd like the church to give to please download the pdf here when it becomes available.

Gift Aid

Did you know that the Inland Revenue will add 28p to every £1 that you give to All Saints Church? This increases the value of your gift by almost one third more at no cost to yourself.

Am I eligible for Gift Aid?

If you are a UK tax payer then yes, you are eleigible. This applies to income tax and capital gains tax at any rate. You just have to have paid enough tax to cover the amount we reclaim from the Inland Revenue within the current taxable year.

Do I have to give donations regularly?

No you do not need to give regularly. It can be a one off gift, direct debit or a standing order set up. One single Gift Aid declaration can apply to all past donations you have made (since April 2000) and to all future donations you make.

How does Gift Aid Work?

Gift Aid is surprisingly easy to use. Once you give us permission to claim gift aid on your donation, we can then claim the tax back on the donation you have made. What this means is that your £10 donation will be worth £12.80 to us.

Gift Aid can apply to donations of any amount, large or small, by cash, cheque, postal order, direct debit, standing order, debit or credit card.

How do I get started?

It quite simple, all you have to do is give the Church a simple Gift Aid declaration. Just download and complete this form and post it to xxxx, or hand it in to xxxx at church. Alternatively, please call xxx and we will send you a form in the post.

This is an opportunity to make your taxes to go something your really care about, so don't miss out!
