Abdul-Massih

Abdul Massih creates meaningful interaction across cultural and religious divides, bridging the communication-gap between Followers of Jesus and Muslims in the UK.

Bookshop

Established in 1880 by Reverend Gaster out of All Saints Church taking the name 'Abdul Massih' from the story of Henry Martyn (1781-1812) who translated the New Testament into Urdu and Farsi. Gaster set up his bookshop in Peckham market-place and gave away free Bibles. Today this work continues, in 2007/08 we gave away over 200 Bibles in over 20 different languages in Southwark.

The bookshop runs weekly during term times.

University

Working together with Islamic Societies, universities are the ideal setting to run dialogue and debate events for students and staff.
We are assistant chaplains at South Bank University.

Mosque

Paying a visit to a local mosque is an ideal way for you to gain greater understanding of the beliefs and practices of Muslims and to experience the hospitality of your local Muslim community.

Training

We run regular training workshops locally, and UK-wide to cater for those who seek to create meaningful interaction across cultural and religious divides in the UK. The dates of the next courses are to be confirmed shortly.
