Vision and values
At All Saints, we believe that the Lord has put us in the heart of Peckham for a reason - to be a light to the surrounding community, to bless our neighbours and serve where we can. We want to know God better and develop in our relationship with Him. The desire of our hearts is to see other people come to know God and enter into a relationship with Him for the first time.
Even though we have grown from 20 to around 300 in just six years, still we believe that we have only just begun! We believe that the Lord is going to achieve something truly significant through All Saints, and we feel very privileged to be a part of what He is doing.
All Saints has a vision statement: To know Christ and make Him known
Knowing Christ expresses our heart for worship and a belief in the importance of teaching; making Him known expresses our conviction that we are in Peckham for a reason - to make Jesus known both in our words and in our deeds.
If we are to see this vision come to pass then we have to be the kind of Church that the Lord wants us to be. A Church where:
- worship and the Word of God are central to all we do
- we take time to listen to God
- we try to live lives that are pleasing to Him
- everyone can get involved
- we are open and honest with everyone and before God
- we are active every day and not just on Sundays
We want to be a community where we accept and care for each other’s needs and where all are equal and valued.
All Saints is affiliated to the Evangelical Alliance and we subscribe to its doctrinal basis.
