Amanda Walker

Amanda has been at All Saints Peckham for just over 3 years and has been the Families Co-ordinator for one year. She was drawn to the church's vision for local and individual transformation through sharing God's love in practical and supportive ways.

Whilst working for 5 years in a drug and alcohol therapy unit in the East End of London she trained in counselling and facilitating groups. She then felt called to Brazil to work with street children from urban slums for 4 years. After this exciting and life changing experience she returned to the UK to work with youth in social services and then moved into training and development.

At All Saints, Amanda's main focus is empowering individuals from all cultures to use their God given skills and gifts particularly in local community projects and by developing resources.

Amanda enjoys silk painting, spending time with friends and family, music and dance and scuba diving!
