Peckham Urban Mission Placement Scheme
The deadline for PUMP applications for this year has now passed, but do look back in February/March 2011 for more information about next years intake.
The Context
Peckham is an urban centre. It is a vibrant and colourful place. Challenges are multiple. Our DNA is mission; our backbone is hope and our banner is 'God Loves Peckham.'
The Commitment
Our commitment is to provide you with a total package: great
accommodation, necessary living expenses and on-the-job
training. We are looking for you to commit to the scheme for
one or two years starting in September 2009.
The Concept
We're searching for 'mission apprentices.' Successful applicants will be welcomed into a progressive staff team and commit to one of the following areas: Children, Youth, Students, Worship, Mission Administration, Cross-cultural
development, Church Leadership, Performing Arts and Sports.

The Community
You'll be living with your team mates in a supportive community and you'll be reaching out to those on the margins of society.
The College
We partner with St Paul's Theological Centre to provide
you with modular accredited training. This will both
stimulate mind and spirit. Credits can be used in further training and supplement a full theological degree.
The Church
All Saints is a local church in South East London. We are
a multicultural and animated community. Our members are
from all walks of life and backgrounds. We give and receive
from one another in practical and targeted ways.

The Candidates
We don't want stereotypes, we want individuals who can serve wholeheartedly; laugh unreservedly; think creatively; talk inclusively and love practically. Preferably 21+ you'll be looking to explore mission and leadership in a real-time, stimulating context.
The Catch
There is none.
